Therapy for High-Achieving Professionals Feeling Overwhelmed, Burned Out, or Stuck

Many of the people I work with are carrying the weight of demanding, high-pressure jobs and complicated relationships. Over time, their usual ways of coping stop working, and they begin to feel stuck or overwhelmed.

You might be feeling

  • overwhelmed even though you appear to be functioning well

  • burned out or exhausted by work

  • stuck in patterns you can’t seem to change

  • caught in constant overthinking

  • unable to relax

  • pulled between what you “should” do and what you actually want

My Approach

For some, inner conflicts make it hard to navigate life effectively. Sometimes the work is learning to be more present and engaged; other times it involves making difficult changes. I’ve helped many people move through both.

My expertise comes from doctoral training in neurobiology and 15 years of work in hospital and private practice settings. I am active and attentive in session as we look at how your biology and life experiences shape the ways you think, feel, and relate to others—and how to shift stuck patterns for lasting change.

Above all, I prioritize the therapeutic relationship. I know it can be a challenge to find a therapist who feels like the right fit—and to show up and do this work consistently. Many people come in used to handling things on their own, and part of our work is creating a space where you don’t have to. I bring warmth, humor, and an engaged presence—clients often look forward to sessions.

My goal is to help you feel more grounded, understood, and able to approach your life with greater clarity and self-compassion.

Reaching out for therapy can feel difficult, especially when you are used to handling things on your own. I offer a free consultation to answer questions, learn more about what brings you in, and determine whether we are a good fit.
